Our family consists of 3 people: My husband Steffen, myself and our daughter Rebecca (born in 2001). We live in Meitingen, a village near Augsburg.
Enya is our first dog, but I’ve been occupied with the topic dog for several years. She truly convinced us with her friendly and pleasant character, so we made the decision to breed with her. After completing the necessary requirements like shows, character test and so on we got the permission to breed. Luckily and because I’m taking an active part in the DKBS, I know a lot of capable breeder who will support me with a lot of help and advice and who will be happy to answer my questions!

At this point: Thanks a lot! Thank you for helping me to explore the mysteries of dog-breeding!

Enya is a very patient and lovely dog. She likes long walks and the possibility to run around with her buddies.
Another thing that makes her special: you can take her with you everywhere. Of course she is a little bitchy sometimes, but in general she is very good-natured and avoids scrambling. At least you can always call her back immediately.
This is something I find very important also for the stud dog: he should be a very reliable, friendly and fearless dog (and also beautiful!). Because I want to breed dogs that are fun to have around! My goal is to breed healthy, strong minded and of course beautiful dogs.
They are supposed to be family dogs for the main part with good predispositions for sporst. In my opinion a Belgian shepherd can only be really happy when it is properly challenged. That does not have to be training in a dog school, but it should involve dealing closely with your dog.
Nowadays there are so many different dog sports, there should be something for everyone. Agility, Obedience, THS, Dogdance or IPO Training, you can try everything with your dog. Belgian shepherds are no alongside-dogs. They need to be challenged, they need to work with their brains. That can be done with a few tricks when training at home. Given that you will have a dog with a great will to please and who is always keen on fulfilling your every wish!
Well, you might have noticed, I’m a big fan of these dogs.

The puppies will be born in our house, in our living room to be exact. There is Enyas familiar dog basket that will be serving as a puppy box for the time being. The puppies will spend the first 3 weeks inside the house and then they will be given the possibility to explore our garden. Our garden will be the adventure playground for the puppies. There will be things like a wobbling-bridge, a tunnel, a rocker, a basin with a lot of balls inside, a curtain with tins on it and a lot more.
The little ones will be in contact with a lot of different things and situations. The kids and teenagers in our neighborhood are already very keen on cuddling and playing with the puppies.
Food will be a varied diet. They will get different sorts of dry food, meat and bones, quark, fruits and vegetables – that will make it easier for the puppies to get used to the food that they will get in their new homes.
